In preseason practice, the team has focused on playing together and playing to the strengths of the team, said Darrel Knoll, head coach, who said he was preparing the boys for competing at a high level.

“I am looking forward to seeing the boys meet the challenge every week,” the 29- year veteran coach said. To do this, players are preparing for the season by working on playing as a team, defending and fixing the little details to fine-tune their team.

Last season, junior Darian Ratzlaff led the team with an average of 10.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Senior Elias Werth added 10.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. Another contributor to the team was junior Wes Shaw, who tallied an average of 5.3 points per game and 3.1 rebounds. Elliot Ollenburger, a senior, and junior Joe Knoll contributed to the team last season but are recovering from injuries and are expecting to be back on the court soon.
